WHEREAS the Minister of Labour and Immigration granted a variance pursuant to section 74.1 respecting section 63.1(2) of the Employment Standards Code (Code) to Vision Travel DT Ontario-West Inc. (Vision Travel) in Ministerial Order No. 2020-48 (M.O. 2020-48);


WHEREAS the Minister of Labour and Immigration amended M.O. 2020-48 in Ministerial Order No. 2020-57;


WHEREAS section 74.1(5) of the Code provides the authority for the Minister to amend an order made under section 74.1;


THEREFORE, pursuant to section 74.1(5) of the Code and on application by Vision Travel, I, Jason Copping, Minister of Labour and Immigration, hereby amend M.O. 2020-48, as amended by M.O. 2020-57, as follows, and subject to the following terms and conditions:

1        By striking out “more than 30 consecutive days after March 1, 2021” in clause 1 and substituting “more than 29 consecutive days after June 1, 2021”.

2        By striking out “lapses April 1, 2021” in clause 6 and substituting “lapses July 1, 2021”.

3        Vision Travel must provide a copy of this Order to the employees as soon as possible.

4        The Minister may, at any time, amend or revoke this Order.


This Order comes into effect on the date set out below.
