Alberta Evidence Act
|
This act sets out a process for the taking of evidence in court or by way of documents. A witness in court or deponent of an affidavit must promise to tell the truth. This is done by oath (generally religious in nature) or affirmation (secular). Section 9 of this Act makes the work and records of health services quality assurance committees privileged for evidentiary purposes.
