The Egg Farmers of Alberta Plan Regulation, under the Marketing of Agricultural Products Act, establishes the Egg Farmers of Alberta, defines the regulated product, sets the purpose, administration and financing of the Plan, and outlines the governance framework and election processes for the board of directors. The Regulation also identifies to whom the Plan applies (persons who produce, market or process the regulated product in Alberta, except persons that do not possess more than 300 hens).
