Alberta Acts, regulations, codes and legislative publications are available online, for download or in print through Alberta Queen’s Printer.

Online documents are available free of charge in PDF or html format. If other formats are available for purchase, they will be displayed within each search result, if links are not available it is for purchase only.

Exempted from search

Please note that regulations, rules, orders and by-laws that are exempt from filing under section 8(1)(g), or that have been discharged from filing under section 8(1)(f), of the Regulations Act are not included in the Regulations Data Base including the Laws Online Catalogue.

Exempted regulations  are not available online or for download. They are only available through depository libraries. These regulations are the Actuarial Tables (AR 36/92) and Actuarial Tables – Early Retirement Factors (AR 42/92) under the Members of the Legislative Assembly Pension Plan Act and the Alberta Rules of Court Publication Exemption (391/68) under the Regulations Act.

Collections and bulk order forms

These forms calculate bulk orders and group products that are often purchased together, to place an order fill out the form and email or fax it to 780-452-0668 for processing.

  • Money order or cheque (payable to the Government of Alberta)
  • Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)  or
  • Queen’s Printer online account
  • In person, Cash, Interac and pre-paid credit cards are also accepted.


Shipping fees and GST will automatically be added to your order, GST charges are not refundable once an order has been processed.

If your organization is GST exempt, the Alberta Queen’s Printer online account will remove GST charges.

Orders are processed and shipped within 1-3 business days. Shipping and handling fees are included on most orders delivered within Alberta (some exceptions apply). 

Orders are shipped via Canada Post - Regular Parcel. Larger orders may be sent by Courier. To use your own courier contact our office with your courier name and account.

Government of Alberta orders are shipped by government courier (some exceptions may apply).

For orders shipped within Canada (outside of Alberta)shipping fees are based on the order amount as follows:

  • $49.99 or less - $10.00 plus GST
  • $50.00 to $99.99 - $15 plus GST
  • $100 or more - $25 plus GST

For International orders the actual shipping fees are determined at the time of shipment based on weight and delivery location and are added to your order.

Volume discounts

Discounts of the retail price will be applied in your cart when multiple copies are ordered of any Act, Regulation, or select Alberta Queen’s Printer product to be shipped to one location, as follows:

  • 100 to 499 copies -  20% discount
  • 500 to 999 copies -  25% discount
  • For 1,000 or more copies please contact our office for pricing.


Returns are accepted within 10 calendar days with a copy of the invoice. Returns are not accepted on special order items, opened, damaged or out of date materials. A restocking fee of 20% may be levied. Refunds will be made based on the original payment method.  Refunds on purchases where a volume discount was originally applied will be refunded at the same discount rate.

Claims for incorrect shipments or damaged titles must be made within 7 days of receipt. Please contact our office to discuss the return of any defective or incorrect shipments. A copy of the invoice must accompany any returned items.
