Alberta Laws Are Now Available in PDF On Our Website
As your official source for Alberta’s laws, Alberta Queen’s Printer is pleased to announce that Alberta Acts and Regulations are now available on our website in Portable Document Format (PDF). To access these documents, click on the “Laws Online/Catalogue” tab at the top left of this page, search for the Act or Regulation you require, and click on “View PDF of this Document”.Providing these files in PDF improves free self-service access to Alberta’s laws and ensures consistency in viewing and printing legislation across all platforms. PDF files look like the original document, are searchable, and also work with assistive technology to help make information accessible to people with disabilities.
As an added enhancement, covers are now included with PDF versions of the laws, which is an improvement from previous electronic versions. They contain the same information as the paper pamphlet copies: the “current as of” date of the legislation; the copyright information; amendments not yet in force: and Acts contain a listing of corresponding regulations.
We welcome your feedback. Please let us know if you have any comments by sending an email to qp@gov.ab.ca.
