The Lieutenant Governor in Council makes the Meat Inspection Amendment Regulation set out in the attached Appendix.

Meat Inspection Act
MEAT INSPECTION AMENDMENT REGULATION
1 The Meat Inspection Regulation (AR 42/2003) is amended by this Regulation.
2 Section 12 is repealed and the following is substituted:
Expiry
12 A licence expires 5 years after the date it was issued or last renewed unless it is earlier suspended or revoked.
3 Notwithstanding section 12 of the Meat Inspection Regulation (AR 42/2003) as it read immediately before the coming into force of this Regulation, every subsisting licence that was issued or renewed before the coming into force of this Regulation expires 5 years after the date of its issuance or renewal unless it is earlier suspended or revoked.
