The Lieutenant Governor in Council orders that
(a) effective June 1, 2002, the land described in Appendix A and shown on the sketch in Appendix B is separated from Leduc County and annexed to the Town of Calmar,
(b) any taxes owing to Leduc County at the end of May 31, 2002 in respect of the annexed land are transferred to and become payable to the Town of Calmar together with any lawful penalties and costs levied in respect of those taxes, and the Town of Calmar upon collecting those taxes, penalties and costs must pay them to Leduc County, and
(c)
the assessor for the Town of Calmar must assess, for the purpose of taxation in 2002, the annexed land and the assessable improvements to it.

ALL THAT PORTION OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION THIRTY-SIX (36), TOWNSHIP FORTY-NINE (49), RANGE TWENTY-SEVEN (27), WEST OF THE FOURTH MERIDIAN DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
COMMENCING AT A POINT ON THE EAST BOUNDARY OF SAID QUARTER SECTION 299.93 METERS NORTH OF THE INTERSECTION OF THE EAST BOUNDARY OF SAID QUARTER SECTION WITH THE NORTH LIMIT OF THE ROAD AS SHOWN ON ROAD PLAN 3692J; THENCE SOUTHERLY ALONG THE EAST BOUNDARY OF THE SAID QUARTER SECTION TO A POINT 160.93 METERS (528 FEET) NORTH OF THE INTERSECTION OF THE EAST BOUNDARY OF SAID QUARTER SECTION WITH THE NORTH LIMIT OF THE ROAD AS SHOWN ON ROAD PLAN 3692J; THENCE WESTERLY AND PARALLEL TO THE SAID NORTH LIMIT OF THE ROAD AS SHOWN ON ROAD PLAN 3692J 34.79 METERS; THENCE NORTHERLY AND PARALLEL TO THE EAST BOUNDARY OF SAID QUARTER SECTION 73.22 METERS; THENCE NORTH EASTERLY 74.32 METERS TO THE POINT OF COMMENCEMENT.
