WHEREAS section 6(7) of the Miscellaneous Statutes Amendment Act, 2016  
(No. 2) provides that section 6 of that Act comes into force on Proclamation; and
WHEREAS section 7(3) of the Miscellaneous Statutes Amendment Act, 2016  
(No. 2) provides that section 7 of that Act comes into force on Proclamation; and
WHEREAS it is expedient to proclaim sections 6 and 7 of the Miscellaneous Statutes 
Amendment Act, 2016 (No. 2) in force:
NOW KNOW YE THAT by and with the advice and consent of Our Executive 
Council of Our Province of Alberta, by virtue of the provisions of the said Act 
hereinbefore referred to and of all other power and authority whatsoever in Us vested 
in that behalf, We have ordered and declared and do hereby proclaim sections 6 and 7 
of the Miscellaneous Statutes Amendment Act, 2016 (No. 2) in force on the date of 
issue of this Proclamation.
