Executive Council
1(1)  The President of the Executive Council continues as the Minister 
responsible for the following enactments:
	(a)	Alberta Order of Excellence Act;
	(b)	Family Day Act.
(2)  The responsibility for the Public Service Act is transferred to the 
President of the Executive Council.
(3)  The responsibility for that part of the public service consisting of 
those persons employed in Corporate Human Resources is transferred 
to the President of the Executive Council.
(4)  The responsibility for the administration of the unexpended 
balance of program 9, Corporate Human Resources, and the portion of 
program 1, Ministry Support Services, related to program 9, of the 
2012-13 Government appropriation for Treasury Board and Enterprise 
is transferred to the President of the Executive Council.
(5)  The responsibility for administering the services associated with 
the Cabinet Policy Committee on Education, Cabinet Policy 
Committee on Finance, Cabinet Policy Committee on Public Health 
and Safety, Cabinet Policy Committee on Energy and Cabinet Policy 
Committee on Community Development are transferred to the 
President of the Executive Council.
(6)  The responsibility for the administration of the unexpended 
balance of element 1.6, Cabinet Policy Committee on Education, of 
program 1, Ministry Support Services, of the 2012-13 Government 
appropriation for Education is transferred to the President of the 
Executive Council.
(7)  The responsibility for the administration of the unexpended 
balance of element 1.5, Cabinet Policy Committee on Finance, of 
program 1, Ministry Support Services, of the 2012-13 Government 
appropriation for Finance is transferred to the President of the 
Executive Council.
(8)  The responsibility for the administration of the unexpended 
balance of element 1.9, Cabinet Policy Committee on Public Health 
and Safety, of program 1, Ministry Support Services, of the 2012-13 
Government appropriation for Health and Wellness  is transferred to 
the President of the Executive Council.
(9)  The responsibility for the administration of the unexpended

Aboriginal Relations
2(1)  The Minister of Aboriginal Relations is designated as the 
Minister responsible for the following enactments:
	(a)	Constitution of Alberta Amendment Act, 1990;
	(b)	Metis Settlements Act;
	(c)	Metis Settlements Accord Implementation Act;
	(d)	Metis Settlements Land Protection Act.
(2)  The powers, duties and functions of the Minister in the Aboriginal 
Relations Grant Regulation (AR 4/2002) and the Gaming Grants 
Regulation (AR 29/2004) are transferred to the responsibility of the 
Minister of Aboriginal Relations.
(3)  The responsibility for that part of the public service associated 
with the parts of the appropriation transferred under subsection (4) is 
transferred to the Minister of Aboriginal Relations.
(4)  The responsibility for the administration of the unexpended 
balance of the following parts of the 2012-13 Government 
appropriation for Intergovernmental, International and Aboriginal 
Relations is transferred to the Minister of Aboriginal Relations:

(6)  The responsibility for the administration of the unexpended 
balance of program 4, Francophone Secretariat, of the 2012-13 
Government appropriation for Intergovernmental, International and 
Aboriginal Relations is transferred to the Minister of Culture.
Education
5(1)  The Minister of Education continues as the Minister responsible 
for the following enactments:
	(a)	Alberta School Boards Association Act;
	(b)	Schedule 4 to the Government Organization Act;
	(c)	Northland School Division Act;
	(d)	Remembrance Day Act;
	(e)	School Act, except Part 7 and section 274;
	(f)	section 14(11) of the Teachers' Pension Plans Act and 
provisions of the plan rules under that Act referred to in that 
subsection;
	(g)	Teaching Profession Act.
(2)  The Minister of Education is designated as the Minister 
responsible for the St. Albert and Sturgeon Valley School Districts 
Establishment Act.
(3)  The responsibility for Part 7 and section 274 of the School Act 
continues as the common responsibility of the Minister of Education 
and the Minister of Infrastructure.
Energy
6(1)  The Minister of Energy continues as the Minister responsible for 
the following enactments:

Sustainable Development Secretariat is transferred to the Minister of 
Energy.
(5)  The responsibility for that part of the public service responsible for 
administering the Oil Sands Sustainable Development Secretariat is 
transferred to the Minister of Energy.
(6)  The responsibility for the administration of the unexpended 
balance of program 7, Oil Sands Sustainable Development Secretariat, 
of the 2012-13 Government appropriation for Infrastructure is 
transferred to the Minister of Energy.

Education.
(5)  The responsibility for the administration of the unexpended 
balance of the 2012-13 Government appropriation for Advanced

Government Organization Act is transferred to the common 
responsibility of the Minister of Environment and Sustainable 
Resource Development and the Minister of Infrastructure.
(4)  The responsibility for sections 5, 11, 11.1, 14, 20, 44, 47, 51 to 57, 
59, 59.1, 62, 63, 69, 76 and 77 of the Public Lands Act is transferred to 
the common responsibility of the Minister of Environment and 
Sustainable Resource Development and the Minister of Tourism, Parks 
and Recreation.
(5)  The responsibility for section 5(1)(d) and (2)(b) of the Surveys Act 
is transferred to the common responsibility of the Minister of 
Environment and Sustainable Resource Development and the Minister 
of Service Alberta.
(6)  The responsibility for Part 6 and sections 159 and 163 of the Water 
Act is transferred to the common responsibility of the Minister of 
Environment and Sustainable Resource Development  and the Minister 
of Transportation.
(7)  The powers, duties and functions of the Minister under the 
following provisions of the Public Lands Administration Regulation 
(AR 187/2011) are transferred to the common responsibility of the 
Minister of Environment and Sustainable Resource Development and 
the Minister of Tourism, Parks and Recreation:
	(a)	sections 22 to 25 and 27;

(6)  The powers, duties and functions of the Minister in the Children 
and Youth Services Grants Regulation (AR 73/2001) and the 
Employment and Immigration Grant Regulation (AR 94/2009) 
continue as the responsibility of the Minister of Human Services.
(7)  The responsibility for that part of the public service associated 
with the parts of the appropriations transferred under subsections (8) 
and (9) is transferred to the Minister of Human Services.
(8)  The responsibility for the administration of the unexpended 
balance of the following parts of the 2012-13 Government

11(1)  The Minister of Infrastructure continues as the Minister

Minister of Finance and the Minister of Agriculture and Rural 
Development.
(5)  The powers, duties and functions in enactments, other than 
enactments referred to in this section, that are referred to as being the 
powers, duties or functions of the Minister of Finance are transferred 
to the President of Treasury Board and Minister of Finance.
(6)  The responsibility for that part of the public service associated 
with the parts of the appropriations transferred under subsections (7) 
and (8) is transferred to the President of Treasury Board and Minister 
of Finance.
(7)  The responsibility for the administration of the unexpended 
balance of the 2012-13 Government appropriation for Treasury Board 
and Enterprise, except program 2, Enterprise, and program 9, 
Corporate Human Resources, and the portion of program 1, Ministry 
Support Services, related to program 9, is transferred to the President

Repeal
19   The Designation and Transfer of Responsibility Regulation
