WHEREAS section 30 of the Rules of Court Statutes Amendment Act, 2011 
provides that that Act comes into force on Proclamation; and
WHEREAS it is expedient to proclaim the Rules of Court Statutes Amendment Act, 
2011 in force:
NOW KNOW YE THAT by and with the advice and consent of Our Executive 
Council of Our Province of Alberta, by virtue of the provisions of the said Act 
hereinbefore referred to and of all other power and authority whatsoever in Us vested 
in that behalf, We have ordered and declared and do hereby proclaim the Rules of 
Court Statutes Amendment Act, 2011 in force on October 1, 2011.

Culture and Community Spirit
Notice of Receipt of a Repatriation Application
(Blackfoot First Nations Sacred Ceremonial Objects Repatriation Regulation)
Pursuant to the First Nations Sacred Ceremonial Objects Repatriation Act 
(FNSCORA) and the Blackfoot First Nations Sacred Ceremonial Objects Repatriation 
Regulation made under that Act, the Province of Alberta as represented by the 
Minister of Culture and Community Spirit hereby gives notice of receipt of a 
repatriation application from a member of the Siksika Nation for two objects in the 
Government of Alberta's collections at the Glenbow Museum.
The application is for the repatriation of a Beaver Bundle that was formerly part of 
the Horseman's Hall of Fame collection and of a Bear Spear and Robe Bundle (Acc. 
No.5293/89 Cat. No.AF 3788 AB). The Beaver Bundle is from the Blackfoot 
Confederacy and the Bear Spear and Robe Bundle is attributed to the Blood Tribe.
Any person with interest in these objects, who either wishes to make written 
representations to the Minister relating to this application or to submit an application 
of their own, must do so within 30 days after publication of this notice in The Alberta 
Gazette. For further information, an interested person should contact the Aboriginal 
Liaison Officer at the Royal Alberta Museum, 12845-102 Avenue, Edmonton, 
Alberta T5N 0M6. The Aboriginal Liaison Officer can also be reached by telephone

Repatriation of the above objects to the Blackfoot Crossing Historical Park, as the 
designated representative of the Siksika Nation, may proceed after the 30 day period 
if the objects listed in the application are determined to meet the criteria of a sacred 
ceremonial object as defined in FNSCORA, no additional applications or contrary 
written representations have been made, and the Minister considers repatriation to be 
appropriate.

Commercial Fishing Seasons
The close times and quotas set out in Schedule 8 to the Alberta Fishery Regulations in 
respect of the waters listed in the Schedule to this Notice have been varied by 
Variation Order 08-2011 by the Director of Fisheries Management in accordance with 
section 3 of the Alberta Fishery Regulations.
Where fishing with gill nets is permitted during an open season established by the 
Order, the gill net mesh size has been specified in the Order.
Pursuant to Variation Order 08-2011 commercial fishing is permitted in accordance 
with the following schedule.
