Student Evaluation Regulation

The Student Evaluation Regulation sets out the requirements for standardized evaluations of student ability, achievement or development, including provincial achievement tests, diploma examinations, and provincially-administered national and international tests. The Regulation gives the Minister the authority to issue directives regarding the evaluation of individuals and the conduct and reporting of the evaluations, including the designation of fees. It also specifies school authority responsibility for the security of evaluation materials, circumstances under which a student may be evicted from an exam and/or the results of the exam may be invalidated, the nature of any penalties, and appeal processes.
