Livestock Identification and Commerce General Regulation

The Livestock Identification and Commerce Regulation, under the Livestock Identification and Commerce Act, describes the procedures for livestock brand registration, the sale of livestock, livestock permits, and the licensing of livestock dealers. The requirements for transporting livestock and governance operations for the Livestock Patrons’ Claims Review Tribunal are outlined in the Regulation. A description of fees and associated amounts are prescribed in the Regulation. It also describes offences related to, and penalties for, contravention of the Regulation.
