Franchises Act

Governs the trading of franchises in Alberta ensuring that a prospective purchaser has the necessary information to make an informed investment decision and civil remedies to deal with breaches of the Act. Provides a means by which franchisors and franchisees will be able to govern themselves and promote fair dealing among themselves.
