Apprenticeship Program Regulation

The Apprenticeship Program Regulation made under the Apprenticeship and Industry Training Act deals with standards and requirements of an apprenticeship program and training of apprentices, including: eligibility requirements of apprentices and employers; responsibilities of apprentices and employers; supervision of apprentices; and provisions respecting resolution of disagreements between employers and their employees in respect of matters coming under the Act. The Regulation is made by the Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training Board with the approval of the Minister under section 33(2) of the Act.
