Alberta Rules of Court 2010

When the new Alberta Rules of Court (AR 124/2010) came into effect on November 1, 2010, the existing Alberta Rules of Court (AR 390/68) were repealed with some exceptions. Currently:

Alberta Rules of Court (AR 390/68) continue to apply to appeals to the Court of Appeal until new Appeal Rules are issued.

Part 58 [Rules under the Local Authorities Election Act], Part 60 [Queen’s Bench Criminal Rules], Summary Conviction Appeal Rules, and Part 61 [Court of Appeal Criminal Rules] are in effect.
