Alberta Rules of Court 2010

When the new Alberta Rules of Court (AR 124/2010) came into effect on November 1, 2010 the previous Alberta Rules of Court (AR 390/68) were repealed, with some exceptions:

  • Parts 58 [Rules under the Local Authorities Election Act], 60 [Queen’s Bench Criminal Rules] and 61 [Court of Appeal Criminal Rules] remain in force.
  • Alberta Rules of Court (AR 390/68) will continue to apply to appeals to the Court of Appeal until new Appeal Rules are issued.
